Time Against Money

1972

Nova Scotia College of Art and Design was moving to new premises downtown and in the interim there were two campuses and it needed a courier service to take mail etc. between them. I took the job, and then ran as fast as I could between the two locations. Since I was being paid by the hour, this reduced the money I earned. It hence referred to the world of work which favours ever greater efficiency savings and ‘more for less to a higher quality’.
